Play-out

Fribourg 1 Bern 0 (1-2 in series)

Fribourg won 1-0 in the third game of the play-off final against Bern. Home team is still in pace for discuss the tittle, and next Thursday night the game 4 has all qualities to be a passionate one.

Last night Fribourg showed an admirable tenacity to achieve the victory specially in the neutral zone. They finally get a reward for their efforts with a Julien Sprunger goal after a nice combination with Benjamin Plüss and Bykov.

They are back in this final but once again paid a heavy price. Heins is injured and will certainly out for the rest of series. In end of game, Sprunger was thrown against the band and never came back on the ice. This match also showed that Bykov is not in shape at the moment.

Play-out

Langnau 3 Lausanne 4 (1-2 in series)

Lausanne beat Langnau 4-3 after extra time thanks to a goal by Augsburger at minute 62. This victory allows Lausanne lead 2-1 in the series and carries a serious option to play in LNA next year..

Lausanne came into the game with the same attitude that we have seen last Saturday during their 4-1 victory. Visiting team almost opened the score at the sixth minute, but Alain Reist missed an open net goal. Not really in a impressive way, home team managed to beat Cristobal Huet at the very end of the first period. Adrian Gerber skillfully deflected a puck snapped by Jörg Reber.

Langnau have benefited from a return of Seydoux penalty early in the second period to double the lead. Well served by the top scorer Kurtis McLean, Federico Lardi score the second for home team. Fortunately, Gerd Zenhäusern's players score fifty seconds later by Corso. Then three minutes later, Captain Florian Conz perforated the Langnau defense and tied the game.

During the third period, Lausanne took the lead with a well negotiated power-play, but Langnau responded at his turn during a power play by Pelletier. The Canadian took advantage of a rebound left by Cristobal Huet.

Finally would be Augsburger to score the golden goal at minute 62, that aloud Lausanne a break in series and put serious doubts in LNA team.
