After a tough dispute with City Council, the club voted to move in a new place

 
 
 
 

The war of beers is apparently ended.

After a month full of tentative to conciliate the Board of the club and the city of Ceske Budejovice, an extraordinary meeting of the Board of HC Mountfield voted to definitively and finally moved the club from Ceske Budejovice to Hradec Kralove.

The Board made the decision after a final meerting with the City Council of Hradec Králové. Aleš Kmoníček, the current general manager of 1 Liga team Hradec Králové, was elected as the new General Manager of the club
