Nazarov to coach Kazakhstan
New Barys Astana coach was named also coach of Kazakhstan national team
Russian Andrei Nazarov will be named headcoach of Kazakhstan national team during the next Executive Committee of Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation in late August. Nazarov, 40, was named Barys Astana coach last June after leaving Donbas Donets'k. Initially Nazarov had kept the place of ukraine headcoach, but early this week he asked for a resolution of the contract by mutual agreement to Ukraine Federation. Last Wednesday the President of the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine Anatoliy Brezvin decided to meet the request of the coach.
Nazarov will coach both Barys an National team as he did last season with Donbas and Ukraine
"This issue has been resolved.Combining the work as head coach of the national team and the one at Barys it's a common practice - said the executive secretary of the Kazakhstan Hockey Federation Gleb Karataev.- The official appointment of Andrei Nazarov will be held at the next executive committee of the federation in late August - early September."
Relegated from elite division, Kazakhstan will compete in 2015 Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A in Donetsk, Ukraine from 18 to 24 April 2015 against Italy, Japan, Ukraine, Hungary and Poland
