Who do you think was the most outstanding player in European hockey in September 2014. Our nominated players are Kai Kantola (Blues, Liiga), Andreas Johnson (Frölunda, SHL), Sergei Shirokov (Avangard, KHL), Radoslav Tybor (Pardubice, Czech Extraliga), Viktor Andrushchenko (Shakhter Soligorsk, Belarus league) and Fredrik Pettersson (Lugano, NLA).

Kai Kantola, Blues, Liiga

Kantola is the leading goal scorer in the Finnish league with 9 goals in 10 games. He also got 4 assists.

Andreas Johnson, Frölunda, SHL

Johnson has only collected 4 points in 8 SHL games, but he is nominated due to his incredible Chanpions Hockey League record: 8 goals and 9 assists in 5 games.

Sergei Shirokov, Avangard, KHL

Shirokov has scored most goals of all KHL players. He already scored 14 goals - compared to 10 during the entire 2013/14 season.

Radoslav Tybor, Pardubice, Czech Extraliga

The Slovak forward has gotten a great start of the season with 7 goals and 6 assists. He leads the Czech league in scoring

Viktor Andrushchenko, Shakhtar Soligorsk, Belarus league

Andrushchenko scored 4 goals and 10 assists in September and leads the league in scoring five points ahead of the closest contender.

Fredrik Pettersson, Lugano, NLA

Pettersson leads NLA in scoring with 11 goals and 5 assists in 9 games.
