Requiem evening will be held on September 8 in Minsk-Arena in memory of the victims of the Lokomotiv crash.
The requiem evening will be held on September 8 in Minsk-Arena in memory of the victims of the Lokomotiv crash that occurred on September 7, when HC Lokomotiv were traveling to Minsk.
The ceremony will begin at 19:00 (local time), the time that the KHL match between Dinamo Minsk and Yaroslavl Lokomotiv was to begin.
All fans that have tickets can visit this ceremony or get their money refunded at the ticket offices. The officials from HC Dinamo Minsk report that more than 13,000 tickets were sold for this match.
"All funds of this requiem evening will be sent from HC Dinamo Minsk to HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl," the press office of HC Dinamo Minsk announced.
Belarus ice hockey fans are asked to bring flowers and candles to Minsk-Arena in honour of crashed Lokomotiv players.
The flags near Minsk-Arena have been lowered.
