Kiekko-Laser goes bankrupt

The team from Oulu withdrew from Mestis.

With a short announcement on the club's website, spokesman Ilari Savonen announced the bankruptcy of Kiekko-Laser Oulu and that team will not be able to continue to play in Finland's second league, Mestis.

Players and coaching staff have been informed Monday morning, after the training. All players are free to find a new club. Mestis schedule will suffer changes to the calendar, which shall be announced in the next few hours.
