Game recap

Coventry Blaze added to a point in Glasgow by returning to home ice and beating Fife Flyers 4-1 at the Skydome.

Fife, who were late arriving to the rink after their journey down from Scotland, took the lead just over four minutes in as Danick Gauthier got the final touch in a goal-mouth scramble. Luke Ferrara went back to the top of the league's goal-scoring table when he put home a rebound from Janne Laakkonen's shot at 18:24 to tie things up.

The pair combined again as Coventry took the lead at 27:21, Ferrara this time firing home from the faceoff circle. Wonderful play from Ferrara and Dillon Eichstadt set up Laakkonen to score the hosts' third of the night 37 seconds later as the Blaze took full control of the game.

With the goalie pulled late on to try and find a way back into things, Fife gave up the empty-net goal - Ross Venus scoring 87 seconds from the final buzzer.
